We get asked this a lot. i think its awesome that quite a lot of you guys play and write music yourselves. it's nice to get approval from a descerning audience...
there were talks of doing a tab book with warner chappell a while back.. after this record is out it would be good to release the full catalogue as tabs...we'll work on that

indeed there is. man, you guys are good. that was a solo thing i did way back in late 2001/early 2002 when i was going through my electronic/industrial phase. i started out trying to write a Prodigy-influenced track.. and ended with MV meets Depeche Mode instead. this was the first track James LeRock and I worked on together too. the band version of this will be included in the new record, and is still one of my favourites...
(by the way I saw the prodigy last week. incredible. in my opinion they are one of the most original bands to exist.) i intend to do more stuff towards that style in the future..

It has been a long wait for something new to find it's way out of the MV camp, as you can imagine and see from various posts you have a hardcore base of fans who will always love you through thick and thin, the question(s) i'd like answering are,
1 - Where did you get the inspiration from for 'Tongue Tied' (my favorite track)

TT was one of my fave tracks with Infantile for along while.. (now its the newer stuff).
I got my inspiration from tuning my guitar into a droning E flat minor chord... i guess somewhat how a Sitar would work.
it shows on the tuner as G..G..G..G..BD.. (effectively +4, -1, +6(watch yr face on that one!), +1, 0, -1 from standard tuning...)
the song wrote itself from there...

oh yeah Infantile is +2, 0, -1, +1, 0, 0 from std

butch is great. he has been very supportive of us. they say 'never meet your heroes as you're bound to be disappointed'.... with butch, they really were wrong.

I'm not sure about everyone else but My Vitriol has certainly brought me happiness with some fantastic songs but you have made me a frustrated fan at times because of the sudden break....what message do you have for the fans who have shown great loyalty and stuck by the band throughout the years where we didn't know whether it was the end or not?

For as long as MV exists, we are all determined to make each record we release better than the last...and we are confident this one will be worth the wait. however we have been pretty blessed that our fanbase hasnt waned during our hiatus over the last 3 years... i know this hasnt been the case for many of our compemporaries, so thank you.... media coverage/praise/hype is just part of the business side of this... the greatest thing to us is being able to play to people that appreciate our music..
