|
|
Hi,
My Vitriol.net has kept in contact with MV and their management, and more recently have been working together on getting some upcoming news and features to us at mvnet.
Ive put forward most of your comments which have been frequent forum topics on the forums, such as lack of news e.t.c. and everything has been taken into consideration, even more so now.
There has clearly been some tension on the forums more recently, with some posters going too far. This should be a place where we can all discuss things openly, and make criticisms. However any posts with personal attacks towards the band or other forum members, along with any factually inaccurate information will be removed. Futher action will be taken against those who persist to abuse these forums.
Guys/Gals, lets keep this place clean and tidy and continue to be one of the unquie friendly band forums around.
Watch this space!
Thankyou for all your support so far
Mark

i must agree, this has to be the most friendly band forum ive ever been on (even with recent goings on). I like the way new members are welcomed instead of made outcasts.
Mark is right though, all the bad feeling has to stop, even if people are getting a bit miffed, just chillax, it'll probably pan out ok in the end. _________________

I don't know where feelings will stand on this but...
It's tricky to make positive statements about things at the moment without rehasing old ground (fav track, best live performance etc.). I think the critism of the band is needed. True, personal attacks against anyone are uncalled for but this shouldn't just be a site to provide them with the e-blowjobs they don't deserve.
On the flip side, it's getting tricky to make negative statements without rehasing old ground too.
It's ace to see things moving again, all be it slowly mind! |

Have to agree that this forum is one of the most friendly out there, by far.
But I can't blame people for being upset, especially the fans who lost out on the cancelled Astoria gig.
I agree with everything goffboy said ^ . Is great to see things rolling again, but this wait was enough to make anyone pangry (pissed+angry). |

i too like this forum for the fact the it isnt (until lately at least) a band bashing website that claims to be a fansite. i stay away from almost all forums because they are usually so negative, people just posting things to piss others off. whatever floats your boat but i try and stay away from that stuff.
it would be coo to have the band say whats goin on. but if they dont say anything im not going to cry over it.
looks like mv are starting to make the rounds with another festival date. thats good news. i am still anxiously awaiting the release of this album.
and this fansite is WAY BETTER looking then there myspazz site. keep it up mark and co.
late. _________________ "the only way out is through" |

Mark, I've been watching this space on and off for a while now and still seen nothing. A little update on progress would be nice.
And manubush is right. Their myspace is rubbish, especially when compared to this site. Very well designed and maintained. Good job! _________________ http://hubpages.com/profile/Dave+Manors

I should imagine it is currently out of Marks hands, and the ball is in MV's court regarding giving Mark news etc.. _________________ Wide open spaceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee |
