as i sat at work, thinking of the current situation with MV, i started remembering how good they really were. the excitement when they first played TOTP, or when they totally outclassed feeder when they were supporting at the astoria, or that little documentary on channel 4. i remember the buzz. now, we are all quite angry, cos we know what a waste of talent this is. look MV, we dont care if the second album is shite, just release it!

if this is some sort of thread i am attempting to start, let me start by saying that my fave MV moment was when they played COR supporting feeder at london astoria. my second favourite moment was on TOTP when they played Always: your way.

there, i have said some random thoughts. i am now off to listen to ratatat and maybe play splinter cell...

Probably hearing always your way in a pub and asking my friend who they were.

Or the first time I listened to the album or saw them live.

I dont think thats a very good answer, sorry my brain is a bit hazy today. Confused Shocked

The Islington gig - it happened for all the right reasons and it seemed like 2005 would be their big year.

The concert supporting Ash in Madrid and then talking with the band... in 2001.... many years ago.
The KOKO party was funny too.

I came home from school on a friday in 8th grade (3 years ago), and I sat my ass down in front of the TV and turned on the Music Choice TV-Radio channel. the second song I heard was Always Your Way, and I loved it so much that the next day at the Red Sox rally parade (they had just won the World Series for the first time since 1918), all I could think about was that song. even better yet, a few days later, they started the blog.
