I'm going to go ahead and start "All of Me" so people can add on and correct it. I've found many ways to play the chorus of this song but none of them have the exact chord voicings or flow that you hear in the recorded version. As for the tuning I just went by what open notes I heard on the B and high E strings during the verse. I came up with Standard down 1 step (D G C F A D). Again, not the exact strumming pattern or order. Make sure you copy and paste to notepad.

(All of Me)

D|-----0------0-/0--0-/0--
A|-----0------0-/0--0-/0--
F|-0h2-2------2-/4--2-/4--
C|-2---2------3-/5--3-/5--
G|-0---0------3-/5--3-/5--
D|------------------------

D|-0--0-------
A|-1--1-------
F|-2--2-------
C|-2--3-------
G|-0--3-------
D|------------

D|----------------|----------
A|--12-----6------|--3--6----
F|--0---7--7--10--|--4--0----
C|--9---5--8--7---|--5--7----
G|--10--5--6--8---|--5--8----
D|----------------|----------

D|-----------------------
A|-3-6-------------------
F|-4-0-------------------
C|-5-7-------------------
G|-5-8-------------------
D|-----------------------

This is what I got out of "Taprobane/Losing Touch".

To get the bit on "Losing Touch" that sounds pitch-altered or bent if you don't have a whammy bar/vibrato arm, you can use the same trick Som is seen using in the video for "Tongue Tied" (at about 2:32) posted in this very site's media section:

With your fretting hand still fretting the chord, push the neck outwards with your fretting hand while depressing the body out/downwards with your other hand. I'm pretty sure this only works if it's a bolt-on neck (like a Fender), and you need to be careful when trying it because if you press too hard you can snap the guitar in half, but it's a useful trick nonetheless.

I also think it's this chord (relative to the capo on the 1st fret):

e|--0---|
B|--5---|
G|--4---|

which is essentially a D5 power chord moved up 2 frets.

Tab looks great otherwise!

No problem. Smile

You could add in chiming the 5th (or 6th, rather, with the capo) fret harmonics on the B and G strings in the second intro part to "Losing Touch," but aside from the intro, where Seth basically goes nuts with high slides + a whammy/wah pedal, the lead just seems to be doubling the high parts for most of the time.

I sat down to try "Taprobane" ... the lead part features yet more use of pitch-bending, but requires a little more finesse than I'm accustomed to trying, especially with the aforementioned trick. This time instead of pitch-bending up, he's depressing the bar and going down.

I'll try to write some of it out later on, but the basic part is centered around notes around the 8th fret on the D and G strings...

Sustain is helpful... a short (~200-300ms) delay helps with that.

In a nut shell. Except it's played down a full step (The album version at least) Which makes the chord G(add9), Eb and F (Both played with the B and E string open.) For the chorus he just plays a Gmin to an Eb (Amin to F in standard) chord progression. I'm not sure about the part after that though, I hear a higher pitched A note in the first chord he is playing thats played either on the 12 fret of the B string or the 7th fret of the high E string.

How I play the lead on "Taprobane":

Taprobane
Guitar II (lead)

Capo on 1st fret; all notes relative to capo.

Use reverb, chorus, delay, and a bit of distortion/overdrive.

e|-------------------------------------0---------------<12>--0-----------|
B|-----------------------------------1-------------<12>----0-------------|
G|-12~~------------9~~-------------2------//12gb14-----------------------|
D|------12~~-/10-9-----9h10\7~~~\\---------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
^^^^^^^^^^^^
Rattle the vibrato arm or try pinching
to get the high-pitched feedback here

e|-----------------------------0-----0-----------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------0---------------------------------------|
G|---------9~~~~-------------5-----5--///12-12-12gb14-14----14----13-----|
D|--9h10-9------/10~~\7~~~-7-----------------------------14----14----14\\|
A|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
^^^^^^^^
Gently depress vibrato arm and release

e|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------9~~~~----------------------------------------------------------|
D|-9h10-9------/10~~\7~~~/10~~\5~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~|
A|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------------------------------------------------------------------|
^ Pluck note and then steadily depress the arm

----

Some playing notes: 'gb' is a glissando bend or gradual bend; keep picking the note and steadily bend it up. <x> denotes a natural harmonic (lightly hold your finger over fret x and indicated string).

Some of my further notes above were mutilated by this bulletin board... all of the ^^^ notes refer to the last notes of each staff/bar.

Enjoy!

I don't think I can really be arsed to tab it out either to be honest! I can barely be arsed to read tabs, might aswel just do it by ear. I could tell people what effects you can use to get a similar sound to My Vitriol though and stuff.

Ok, someone asked me for a tab of Always Your Way and as I cant really recommend that many, I've made one of how I play it.
It's really my interpretation of the song, but its the closest I can come when playing it on an acoustic guitar at open mic nights.

Here goes:
