Don't know why but the MP3 with headphones I can't fault the mix at all - the CD however doesn't sound as polished...!

MP3's encode with various frequencies removed to compress the file size but to the ear, will not be very noticeable at higher bit rates. Ironically, the MP3's may have removed some of the poorer frequency mixes and levels and effectively sliced them off!

Either that or your headphones don't have a very good frequency range.

Some of the production quality took a hit when the Producer they booked cancelled on them, this through the sessions and studio recording time out by months. Som had to learn to produce on his on. This was detailed on the pledge site.

I have no issues with production quality - think it sounds great and if they've done it all by themselves then good job! They just sound a bit different on cd be MP3 but it's not a gripe more an observation.

Roll on the next album! Very Happy

So umm... the "fan only release" that isn't a 2nd album is now up on iTunes despite them saying it never would be. Thoughts?

I think with then having radio play later today it might have influenced it going on iTunes. Thought it would happen sooner or later and hopefully it fuels interest (and funds) for another album.

Think it's just another in a long line of u-turns and contradictions by MV since this whole "unofficial 2nd album for the fans" project began. A blatant money grab.

It feels like a slap in the face considering the time, patience and investment we all had to endure for many years.

Hello MV'ers!

We are excited to announce the following performance:

April 12th - LONDON Scala - http://buytickets.at/myvitriol/77110/r/list

The password for the tickets is: mv4life

We know a lot of you couldn't make the recent Eastern European shows, or the surprise o2 arena performances etc, so it'll be cool to finally play this fanbase show for all those who have been requesting one since the album release.

The feedback for the album has been incredible:

Given that they managed to release Cast In Amber within what, 18 months of Islington, in a fantasy world you'd wonder why don't they just do a gig of entirely new songs and release a live album of it? The production would be better!

Anyone found any reviews of TSS online? I'd be keen to read some of the doubters be silenced by the final release.
